Barbarossa Bäckerei offers a three-year dual apprenticeship as an office management clerk at its Kaiserslautern location. Trainees rotate through departments from purchasing and HR to marketing and learn, among other things, order processing, costing, procurement, accounting, logistics and personnel administration. Day-to-day work includes drafting employment contracts, negotiating with suppliers, checking cash register systems and organising promotion campaigns. The family-run business with over 800 employees and around 70 branches emphasises teamwork, an affinity for figures and a communicative manner. According to the company, takeover and internal advancement are possible after the apprenticeship.
